Sir James Galway OBE is a virtuoso flautist from Belfast. He has sold over 30 million albums worldwide & his frequent international television appearances have attracted numerous admirers'.
Since 1975, when Sir James launched his solo career, he has continuously performed with the world's leading orchestras & conductors, participated in chamber music engagements, popular music concerts & given music master classes. He was awarded a knighthood for services to music in 2001, and in 2014 won the Gramophone Lifetime Achievement Award.
