Emma Johnson is one of the few clarinetists to have established a busy international career as a soloist. Johnson has made 30 recordings to date; tracks from her recent album with the BBC Concert Orchestra, English Fantasy, have been streamed 4 million times on Spotify.

Born in Britain, Emma won the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition in 1984 and later studied Music and English at the Pembroke College, Cambridge. She has released a string of hugely successful albums that include popular, jazz and standard classical repertoire and sold well over a quarter of a million discs worldwide. Johnson's music-videos feature on ' Concerto TV '.
