Craig Armstrong is a Scottish musician and composer best known for his film scores. He has received international recognition for his contribution to films such as 'Ray' (for which he won a Golden Globe), 'Moulin Rouge', 'Love Actually' and Baz Luhrmann's 'Romeo and Juliet'. Armstrong studied musical composition, violin and piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London before joining the London Contemporary Dance School as resident student composer.
